It is Tuesday, April 23 at 8:00 p.m.the Gayarre Theater hosts the final exhibition of the sixth edition of the participatory theater workshop ‘With 60 candles and more’ directed by Ángel SaguésNavarrese professional with a wide track record as an actor, director, author, choreographer and teacher as well as founder together with Asun Abad of ATIKUS Artistic Productions.
The workshop, with focus on people over 60 years of agehas been developed between February and April of this year with 20 female participants: Maria Aranzazu Beain Ugarte, Maria Angels Delgado Perez, Maria Luisa Echarri Brown, Maria Pilar Elcarte Elcarte, Mrs. Cristina Olid Zurbano, Maica Garcia Lopez, Mrs. Ascension Blacksmiths, Amelia Martinez de Lizarrondo Apesteguía, Maria Luisa Morras Zazpe, Carmen Lucia Garayalde, The following are the children of Lola Prieto Villazan, Ana Maria Puy Clemente, Ma Carmen Gracia Mace, Catherine Sanchez Lopez, Andrew Sem Goñi, Mirentxu Urtasun Lorca, Clara Lucia Garayalde and Carmen Martinez Palacios.
In this new edition titled ‘Bending the waves’, the sessions have started from the idea that theater is a magical world where the simplest, most everyday things can become a great event. “Moving a finger, folding some socks, can trigger a whirlwind of emotions,” says Sagüés himself.
A proposal where clothes and clothing acquire a unique value because «Each garment has a special meaning that reflects the person who has worn it.. Each garment takes us to a personal story or even to various stories of those who, like all of us, navigate the sea of life,” he explains.
The show will also feature a initial performance by the students of the workshop ‘The characterization‘ also guided by the Navarrese director.
