Miotisoa Rasendra flew over the Accra junior circuit from April 1 to 13.

Miotisoa Rasendra gleaned three titles in two weeks at the ITF junior circuit played in two stages in Accra, Ghana. Mastering her game, she flew over the competition.

Three finals played and three titles in their pocket. This is the final result of the participation of the young Malagasy racket, Miotisoa Rasendra Andrianantenaina, in the ITF junior circuit played in two stages, on the clay court of the Tennis Foundation Ghana, from April 1 to 6 then from April 8 to 13.

After the first women’s singles title on the circuit where she outclassed the British Tara Lawal in the final, in three sets (6/7 6/4 6/1), Miotisoa Rasendra then won the women’s doubles final, on Friday April 12 on the same land. With her doubles friend, the Ghanaian Sisu-Makena Tomegah, she won the title by beating their opponents, the Portuguese Marta Bieniecka Zawerthal Duarte and the British Alisha Ndukwu in two sets (7/5 7/6-5) in a final very disputed.

To top it off, the young Malagasy did it again in the women’s singles final on April 13, sharply beating the British Alisha Ndukwu in two sets (6/0 6/0). It was a one-sided match during which the Malagasy tennis player gave a tennis lesson to her young rival. From the start of the match, Miotisoa Rasendra left no chance by stifling her opponent from the start who lost his first face-off. At Miotisoa Rasendra’s first face-off, Alisha Ndukwu tried to resist the exchanges who reached 40/40. Very efficient in service and rallies, the Malagasy racket widened the gap by leading 2/0, then 3/0 to complete the first set in 6/0.

Grand slam dream

In the second set, Miotisoa Rasendra walked on water (1/0, 2/0 then 3/0). At 5/0, she served to win the match (15-0, 15-15, 15-30, 15-40). Her opponent had the opportunity to score at least one point, but by alternating winning shots, Miotisoa Rasendra returned to 40/40 before closing the game with 6/0.

After her three victories, she took stock: “Winning my first three titles (two in singles, one in doubles), after a year of absence due to injury, is an extraordinary experience. With only a month and three weeks of training before the tournament, this victory seems almost unreal. However, as the saying goes, with man it is impossible, but with God everything is possible.

Then she adds: “I am deeply grateful to be able to serve a God who has a greater purpose for me, despite the trials. I am eager to redouble my efforts in order to pursue my dream of participating in the Grand Slams and winning one, or even several, one day. This goal will require total commitment and hard work, as well as considerable financial support. I would like to express my deep gratitude to my parents, family and my sponsor, Mvola, for their invaluable support in achieving my sporting aspirations.”

Miotisoa Rasendra flew to Ivory Coast to participate in the ITF World Tour Tennis J30, which takes place from April 15 to 20 in Abidjan. Alefa Miotisoa!
