Alphonso Davies has a year and a half left on his contract with Bayern Munich, which is why his arrival at Real Madrid would take place under two different scenarios.
The first option that the white team has is to reach an agreement with Bayern for a lower price than the market price this summer, as was achieved with the signing of Toni Kroos in 2014 paying about 25 million euros.
In the event that Bayern Munich refused to accept the figure offered by Real Madrid, the second option would come in: waiting for Davies to finish his contract in the summer of 2025. The Spanish club has already done so when it signed David Alaba in 2021.
Bayern’s intention is to renew Davies, who joined the club in 2019 from Vancouver Whitecaps for 10 million euros, but if the Canadian’s desire is to go to Real Madrid, it is unlikely that the Germans will let him go for free.
Alphonso Davies has played 124 games for Bayern with seven goals and 17 assists.
