On July 12 and 13, the first edition of Puro Latino Almería Fest, a new event with reggaeton and the most current Latin rhythms that joins the successful existing editions of Madrid, Seville, Torremolinos and El Puerto de Santa María. El Alfa, Maka, Yandel, Dei V, JC Reyes and Omar Montes are the first artists confirmed for the first edition of this festival that will be held at the Fair Concert Hall.
Artists
Dominican singer and producer The Alpha, who has taken the dembow genre to the top of the charts thanks to hits like “Tacata”, heads the first confirmations of artists for this debut edition. They are also added in this announcement For, a master when it comes to fusing flamenco, reggaeton and hip hop in songs as popular as “Todo Mentira”; the Puerto Rican Yandel, one of those artists who can already boast a legacy in the history of Latin music, either as part of the applauded duo Wisin & Yandel, or in his no less successful solo career; his compatriot Dei V, who despite his youth already has collaborations behind him with other stars of the contemporary Latin scene such as Karol G, Myke Towers or Bryant Myers; Sevillian JC Reyes, who already has more than four million followers on Spotify thanks to hits like the recent “Chula”; and Omar Montes, who last summer managed to star in one of the famous Tiny Desk sessions, the same ones that brought his colleague C. Tangana to international prominence.
Six first stars that promise to illuminate the sky of Almería on July 12 and 13, along with other luminaries of the most current scene who will not hesitate to join a most stellar firmament in the coming weeks. Tickets will be available from 5:00 p.m. this Thursday through the festival website.
The festival
Since the summer of 2018, the date on which the first edition of Puro Latino El Puerto de Santa María began, the pioneering event in our country with reggaetón and the most current Latin rhythms has extended its presence with editions in other cities such as Torremolinos, Seville or Madrid.
In total, Puro Latino already has nine deliveries since that beginning: four editions in El Puerto de Santa María, two in Seville, another two in Torremolinos and one in Madrid. All, moreover, carried out with a great reception from the public. In its debut, Madrid attracted more than 50,000 people, Seville and Torremolinos exceeded 60,000 and El Puerto de Santa María, the oldest, reached 141,000 people.
The Puro Latino festivals have in our country international artists from the likes of J Balvin, Karol G, Maluma, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Anuel AA or Manuel Turizo, among many others.
Furthermore, they have been and are showcases and launching pads for numerous national artists such as Morad, QuevedoPtazeta, Dellafuente, Omar Fontes or Saiko, among many others.
