In fact, this “social mobilization” of recent days is one of the reasons that Sánchez has expressed to explain his decision. A mobilization that “has helped me reflect” and continue “with even more strength if possible.”
“There are times when the only way to move forward is to stop, reflect and decide clearly where we want to walk.” And he has trusted that this decision will be “a turning point”, from which “respect” and “dignity” prevail in national politics, and where “deliberate hoaxes” do not “direct the political debate.” And that society make a “collective reflection” to “end this mud that contaminates everything.”
