Journalist Iker Jiménez started his program ‘Horizonte’ this Thursday nightof Four, with a minute of silence in tribute to the civil guards who died last Friday in Barbate (Cádiz) when they were attacked by a drug boat.
At the end of the minute of silence, which Jiménez, fellow journalist Carmen Porter and the collaborators of tonight’s space have starred in, the popular presenter acknowledged that “A minute of silence on television is anti-television, but this is ‘Horizon’.”
The death of the two civil guards Miguel Ángel González and David Pérez has generated a great impact in the place and in the civil guard associations, which have denounced the situation in which the agents are working in this area.
The judge investigating the case for the death of the two civil guards has decreed the entry into provisional prison of the six detainees who were on the boat, who are accused of murdering the agents.
