by daily weby

FC Nantes of Barea U23 Fortun Safidy Titouan achieves an exceptional double. Nantes left-back and captain Safidy and his teammates won the title of French U19 champions for the second consecutive season. The Nantes club won 2 goals to 1 against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday. Nantes hit hard from the start of the match. Mafoumbi opened the scoring, taking advantage of a bad reading from the captain of the Parisians, to leave alone and deceive the goalkeeper, Louis Mouquet, badly placed in front of his cage (9th). The club from the French capital came back up the slope by imposing their game. Noah Lemina scored the equalizing goal just before the break (43rd). Nantes winger Ereba Guirassy then scored the winning goal with a curling shot from the right foot, placed in the top corner (71st). Safidy Fortun has been playing for FC Nantes since July 1, 2021 and has joined the Malagasy selection since last year during the qualification phase for the U23 African Cup of Nations. He has just been called up to the national team by coach Boualem Mankour for the four nations tournament scheduled for June 17 and 18 in Paris.
