Condolences from the FAP for the death of Ramón Masats

The Provincial Council of Cuenca and its Antonio Pérez Foundation have wanted to join in the condolences for the death of the photographer and documentary filmmaker Ramón Masats for the loss it represents for the world of culture, also sending them to his family and friends.

Born in Caldes de Montbui in 1931, with his death at the age of 92, the world of art and photography is left orphaned.

This renowned photographer had extensive involvement with Cuenca and was lucky enough to be able to enjoy his work on several occasions, and as a result of that collaboration in the FAP collection we treasure several of his works, highlighting the series Cuenca en la Mirada, a project that He launched the Provincial Council of Cuenca under the direction of Publio López Mondéjar and the coordination of the Cuenca photographer Vicente Tofiño in 2002.

A program in which, in addition to Masats, great figures from the Spanish photographic scene have participated such as Isabel Muñoz, Jean Marie del Moral, Castro Prieto, Díaz Burgos, Vicente Tofiño, José Manuel Navia and Ramón Masats,
