Although during her time on ‘Big Brother’ she confessed to being excited about love again after separating from her husband after thirty years of romance and three children in between, Carmen Alcayde had not publicly introduced her partner. The program ‘Friday!‘ was the place chosen by the journalist to introduce Charli and tell how they met.
It all happened one night of partying. Charli – or Carlos, as she likes to call him – was at the mixing desk and Alcayde fell in love with her. She started recording him with her cell phone until he noticed her and the spark ignited. It was August and there were still a few months until Carmen entered ‘Big Brother VIP’, so the two enjoyed their first contacts to the fullest.

But Guadalix de la Sierra’s house arrived and it became a true test of love for both of them. “The summer had been very cool, but I didn’t know how long our relationship would last. In ‘Big Brother’ my stomach hurt thinking about him. And he, for three months, watched 24 hours and waited for me“, has explained.
The age difference
With Charli already on the set, the two greeted each other with a kiss on the mouth that the presenters and collaborators invited them to repeat. And, although she is 50 years old and he is 28, the two admit they hardly notice the age difference. “In the end, we are a bit at a point where we say we are 35 years old. I’m a little ‘old’ and she’s young. I found in a 50-year-old woman what I didn’t find in a 20″ woman, stressed Charli, who previously defined herself as a fan of her current girlfriend. “I fell in love with her energy, her vitality and that he is a passionate person in everything he does and gives his all,” he added.
They both rule out paternity. Carmen already has three children to whom she told about Charli’s existence as the relationship began to consolidate. “The youngest, when I told him that he was 28 years old, he told me: ‘How good mom. “Much better than an older, boring man.”. “They always tell me that I’m with a 28-year-old yoghurt, but he goes to bed at 10 at night and if we go out to party everything hurts.
