Dortmund was interested, but Senny Mayulu will sign in Paris. This Friday, during the press conference before the match against Le Havre, which could be the title game for Paris Saint-Germain, Parisian coach Luis Enrique confirmed that his young midfielder will soon sign his first professional contract with the capital club.

“I have to say that Senny is one of the surprises. When you look at the lower categories, he’s a player with the perfect profile for my playing model. He can play winger, midfielder, he has good physical performance, he doesn’t lose the ball under pressure, he can score. He knows how to play according to others and he is very similar to Warren (Zaire-Emery, editor’s note) in this aspect of the game,” greets Luis Enrique.

“I am very happy that he continues at the club and that he wants to sign his professional contract at PSG. I think he will be an important player in the future,” continues the Parisian coach about the man who played four Ligue 1 matches this season, including two as a starter. The last time was Wednesday during the Parisians’ victory (1-4) in Lorient. During this meeting, the “Parisian titi” notably delivered a decisive pass for Ousmane Dembélé’s opening score.

Gaining playing time since his first appearance with the first team against Revel in the Coupe de France in January, Senny Mayulu managed to integrate into the rotation and was also of interest to Dortmund, PSG’s future opponent in the semi-final of the Champions League. He will indeed remain Parisian.
