The CEIP Monseñor Socorro, Miraflor and Huertas del Palmar; The IES Teror, the Adult Center and the Children’s Center ‘La Casa de Norita’, received laptops, digital screens, speakers, sheets of paper, cardboard, etc., for the educational activity of the centers.
The school support campaign ‘Aguas de Teror Educa 2023-2024’ has culminated this academic year with the delivery to the educational centers of the municipality of computer and stationery material for the common use of teachers and students in educational activity, at the request of the management team of each center.
The Councilor for Education of the Teror City Council, Moisés Rodríguez, together with the CEO of Aguas de Teror, José Agustín Arencibia, delivered various school supplies (paper, cardboard, EVA foam, rolls of continuous paper, boxes of markers, file folders… ), as well as computer equipment (laptops, speakers, external hard drives, digital screens, 3D printer, etc.).
From the Education area of the Teror City Council and the municipal company Aguas de Teror, the delivery of this educational material has been coordinated, attending to the specific needs and requests of each school center.
On the other hand, 2,230 students from Teror received this important aid of free school supplies at the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year, covering the entire student body of the municipality, from the Nursery School to the University.
Around 1,400 preschool and primary schoolchildren received aid this year; and 830 of Secondary, Baccalaureate, Middle and Higher Training Cycles, Conservatory of Music, Official Language Schools, Adult Center, Special Education, Nursery Schools and Master’s students. The municipal company Aguas de Teror has been carrying out this pioneering educational campaign since 1999, providing free school supplies to all students in the municipality.
