His death was confirmed by Christopher Stathisbrother of the actor, to the magazine Peoplewho also revealed that Duress died from “cardiac arrest caused by a cocktail of drugs.”
Duress He starred in several feature films and short films such as 86’d, The mountña and The great dark days. In 2019, he was arrested again on charges of third-degree grand larceny and re-entered Rikers.
Months later he was arrested for threaten with burning down his mother’s house and later on charges of menacing and criminal possession of brass knuckles and a controlled substance.
Duress has two film projects yet to be released, including the short Skull and the movie Mass State Lottery, directed by Karales, which will be released this year.
