An argument that went wrong? This Monday, around 7:30 p.m., the police received a call from a resident of Mouy: a man is on the ground, he would have been injured with a knife near the station. A passerby tries to give him first aid while waiting for the arrival of paramedics.
Very quickly, the victim was transported to Beauvais hospital where she was examined and treated. She is now out of danger, her vital prognosis being “not in jeopardy”, informs the public prosecutor of Beauvais, Frédéric Trinh.
Investigations continue
Still according to the prosecution, this injury followed “the altercation between two drunken individuals yesterday evening in the town of Mouy”, who allegedly came to fight. During this conflict, one of the two individuals was “hit in the throat by a sharp object”. It could be “a shard of a bottle”, specifies Frédéric Trinh.
The second individual was arrested by the gendarmerie services. He is currently in police custody for questioning. The Beauvais public prosecutor’s office declares having opened “judicial proceedings for attempted intentional homicide”. The Méru research brigade is responsible for the investigation. Investigations are continuing. They should help to clarify the circumstances of this altercation, the outcome of which could have been dramatic.
