But now, with the two retirements from their respective sports, they are expanding their horizons and They are going to debut as producers as producers of a television series. Touch More, the production company that the two have founded, has joined forces with Future Shack Entertainment, an independent TV studio to create a series based on the best seller Cleat Cute lesbian, by the author Meryl Wilsner.
Cleat Cute is a lesbian romance novel in which we follow the story of Phoebe Matthews, a young woman who plays soccer and is trying to balance her life, but it is complicated because she has just been accepted as rookie in her national team and let’s say he has his eye on the team captain.
Grace Henderson, has been the captain of the USA team for ten years, but an injury prevents him from playing at the moment and that opens a space for Matthews to play in his position. The blow is hard, but the worst thing is that Grace is the exact opposite of her. While Grace is serious and professional, Phoebe is playful and has a lot of fun when she plays. This is bound to explode!
If there is one topic that Megan Rapinoe knows about, it is soccer and national teams, so it is clear to me that they already have a «insider» very powerful to make the series realistic and interesting. Furthermore, the book is good background material, so the project looks good.
