The 2023 winter holidays are approaching in Argentina and very soon, students will be able to enjoy the winter break. The Federal Council of Education released the official calendar of winter vacations at the national level. The dates of the recess will depend on each jurisdiction and will be extended by two weeks.

This year, there are provinces that chose to start the recess during the second week of July, and others, during the second fortnight. In any case, throughout the national territory the winter holidays will coincide from July 17 to 23.

There are 15 provinces that will have their winter holidays 2023 from July 10 to 21and another 9 jurisdictions will have the winter recess between the 17th and the 28th of the same month.

The 24 jurisdictions will be divided into two groups. The following provinces will have their winter school break starting July 10 and will return to normal classes on July 24: Catamarca, Córdoba, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Formosa, La Pampa, La Rioja, Mendoza, Misiones, Neuquén, Río Negro, Salta, San Juan, San Luis and Tucumán.

The winter school break will begin on July 17 and they will return to classes on July 31 in the provinces of Buenos Aires, the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Chaco, Chubut, Jujuy, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero and Tierra del Fuego.
