Ushuaia Smokehouse is a company founded in 2009 by engineers Oleg and Sergio who sought to create quality gourmet products using local raw materials and smoking and canning techniques.

Located at the foot of the Andes Mountains and on the banks of the Beagle Channel, in the picturesque city of Ushuaia, Smokehouse Ushuaia has stood out since its inception for its commitment to quality and excellence in its products. Using local ingredients of national and international recognition, the company has managed to captivate the most demanding palates and has become a gastronomic benchmark in the region.

One of the distinctive characteristics is its smoking process, carried out with peat smoke following methods similar to those used in countries such as Norway and Scotland. This technique ensures that the smoked flavors are smooth and delicate, enhancing the natural flavor of the ingredients. In addition, its artisanal production is certified by the Tierra del Fuego-Fin del Mundo Certified Quality Seal, which guarantees excellence in each step of the process.

«We are privileged, our products are unique and exclusive. The king crab lives in few places, but we are also the only ones in the world that give it an added value: smoking it”, comments one of the founders of Ahumadero Ushuaia.

At Caminos y Sabores 2023, visitors will have the opportunity to discover and taste a wide variety of smoked preserves of the highest quality. From natural and brined king crab, to smoked trout and smoked mussels and prawns in olive oil, each product promises to transport diners to the authentic flavors of Tierra del Fuego.

In addition to its outstanding line of smoked preserves, Ahumadero Ushuaia also offers options such as smoked lamb, raw ham and vacuum-packed frozen cooked meat, offering a varied and tempting proposal for all tastes.
