A month and a half after the Premier Défi, the inaugural round of the Madagascar Runs Championship, the second round will take place this Sunday, July 9 in Arivonimamo. Still organized by the Run Mada club, the next race is called “King of Mobil Drag Racing XXL”. The first round, which was won by Tahiana Rasolojaona alias “Jaytaxx”, at the wheel of a BMW E30, was also marked by the new record of 9”76 signed by Herizo Boarilaza known as “Bobo” on a Mitsubishi Evo V. To avoid the timing problem that disrupted the course of the races during the first round, “we will use both the new cellular system and also the Rally Time”, reassures Ndriana Ramaroson, director of the competition. Registrations will close on Thursday. Twenty nine drivers are registered until Monday evening. The two finalists of the First Challenge are among the entries, namely the winner and reigning national champion, Jaytaxx, and the author of the new national record, Bobo. In the list, we can also mention Tojo Ranaivo at the wheel of an Evo X since this season. He was a finalist against Jaytaxx at East Coast Racing in Toamasina last year. He made an inconclusive try at the Premier Challenge. His Subaru will, as in the previous round, be driven by his brother Ando Ranaivo. Among the entrants, there are also big names like Laza Randriamifidimanana on VW Beach Buggy and Jean de dieu Rafanomezantsoa dit Vazah on Subaru.
