The prestigious music magazine Rolling Stone highlighted in an article the musical facet of Salvadoran businessman Fernando Poma, who spoke about his influences and the hotel sector of which he is vice president of the Real Hotels and Resorts chain.
At around 15 or 16 years old I started playing in bands and at university I did presentations, but always playing covers. Then I went to work in Europe and I had to quit music because the job was too demanding. Although I always loved it. I went to many concerts. Later, at about 40 or 41 years old, I said, “Well, it’s now or never.” publishes the magazine in the article called Steady Rollin Band and a child’s dream.
Poma reported that they almost have the album ready, but the idea is to release one more single. “The interesting thing is that all the songs are different. People ask me how we sound and I tell them it depends on the song they listen to. Every song is different and they don’t have a relationship.“
The businessman assured that he feels that his spirit has always been that of an artist, bohemian and rocker, which he considers that this has given him an advantage as an entrepreneur “Creative capacity is something that has worked very well for me in the business field and I am lucky to have a position in which I can exploit all my creative capacity“he added.
Fernando Poma, together with Gerardo Pardo (bass) and Benjamín Andrade on drums, form the band Steady Rollin Band and are about to release their first album with their own songs.
