Ingredients (for a 26/28 cm mold):
– 250 g butter
– 230g sugar
– 1 pinch of salt
– 5 eggs
– zest of 2 oranges
– 80 ml of orange juice
– 1/2 cdita vanilla essence
– 240 g of plain flour
– 60 grams of almond flour
– 10 g baking powder
For ice cream:
– 150 g of powdered sugar
– juice of 1/2 orange
Tempting and we fell short.
Preparation
Beat the sugar with the butter in a bowl, until creamy. Add the orange zest, vanilla and eggs, one by one, beating well after each addition. Finally the dry ones (flour, almond flour, salt and baking powder) interspersed with the orange juice.
We put in buttered and floured mold. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45/50 minutes or until when inserted with a stick it comes out clean. Unmold, cool and decorate with glaze.
Para ice cream: Mix the powdered sugar with the orange juice until you get the desired texture.
