KENPO – MADAGASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP

The sixth Madagascar Kenpo and Mixed martial arts (MMA) championship took place this Thursday at the PK in Antanimena. The national summit was marked by the domination of Itasy and Vakinankaratra fighters. The two leagues each achieved a treble. The artisans of the title for Itasy are among others Nirinasoa in MMA Gamma (Global association mixed martial arts), Miantso itasy in full kenpo and Miary in kempo kids. The crowned national champions for Ambatolampy Vakinakaratra are in this case Zidane in stricking MMA category 61kg, Luc in full kenpo and Noeline in the ladies. The new “contendor” rule, a two-round, 2-minute bout was enforced for the first time. The national game brought together one hundred and fourteen fighters from five leagues including Analamanga, Itasy, Vakinankaratra, Atsinanana and Haute matsiatra. “In the calendar of the federation appears at the end of September the international tournament of the Indian Ocean which will see the participation of the representatives of Mauritius and Reunion.
