Yesterday, June 15, the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, laid the first stone of the new Rosales Hospital, whose investment amounts to $61.2 million. This project is part of the transformations to the health system promoted by the current administration.
“This hospital, which was deplorable, is now going to be completely new with an investment of $61.2 million, between construction and equipment. Beneficiary population: all Salvadorans who want to occupy it,” declared the Salvadoran President. He added: “The funds from this investment are 100% own funds.”
It should be noted that, since the inauguration of the Rosales Hospital in 1902, no past administration has completely remodeled or rebuilt El Salvador’s main health center. Now, the hospital will have modern facilities and equipment to provide Salvadorans with a quality and comprehensive health service.
