The Paralympic athlete, Herbert Aceituno, continues adding medals internationally, and raising the name of El Salvador after defeating the Iranian Mohsen Bakhtiar and the Chinese Yongai Qi.
On this occasion, the Salvadoran athlete won the gold medal in the category up to 59 kilograms after achieving three lifts of 80 kg, 182 kg and 184 kg, for which he added a total of 546 kg.
Aceituno beat the Iranian Mohsen Bakhtiar who took the silver award by adding 543 kg, and the Chinese Yongai Qi, who got the bronze medal by lifting a total of 539 kg.
On the other hand, the silver medal was shared with Yongai Qi, after drawing with the Chinese athlete for a total of 184 kg lift. The gold medal went to the Iranian Bakhtiar, since he lifted one kilogram more than his rivals.
