During a television interview, the deputy for the ARENA party, Ricardo Godoy, assured that his party is the “only hope” for the Salvadoran people in these upcoming 2024 presidential elections.
«In ARENA is the only hope and alternative to be able to compete for the presidency and vice presidency of the Republic. It is the only party that becomes a real alternative,” said Godoy.
This despite the fact that different surveys believe that the Salvadoran population maintains a constant rejection of the tricolor party that ruled the country for 20 years, because different officials only sought to enrich themselves and did not work for the needs of Salvadorans.
On another issue, the parliamentarian assured that his party will not disappear and that ARENA is no longer the same as it was in the past, for which reason he stated that they will participate in the next elections.
